Hey! I’m Steven and here’s a little bit about me…

I’m a Canadian university student living at home paying his bills and working hard. Of course there is a little bit more too it. Because humans are very complex individuals I will attempt to break down my description into numerous categories so that I can delve deeper into what makes me tick.

Where I’m from: I was born in British Columbia but soon moved to Manitoba where I spent most of my childhood. I then moved to Edmonton, Alberta and have been here ever since.

Music and Entertainment: Music for me is a mixed bag. I honestly have all types of music ranging from Aqua to ACDC, Mozart to the Backstreet Boys, and everything in between. To be fair though I think that Van Halen has to be one of my favourite bands of all time simply for the song Panama and I can’t stop loving you. I find though that the music I enjoy is really based on my current mood or situation so it tends to fluctuate throughout the day. I also played piano for a couple of years and really do enjoy it by no longer have the place to do so (more so, it is too loud for the ‘rents’). I am currently trying to learn the acoustic guitar but it seems to be a futile cause :P .

Sports: Man do I love me some sports! As a Canadian you might have guessed that I liked hockey. And you’d be perfectly correct in that assumption. I’m a huge Canucks fan as it is my hometown team, but since I’m living in Edmonton I do try and support the Oilers from time to time. For me though, goaltending is the end all and be all of my hockey existence. Many people say it takes a certain type of person to be a goalie and I am definitely that type of person. Unfortunately I never had the chance to play hockey as a goalie but I found my goaltending fun in the streets and eventually in the game of lacrosse. I spent 4-5 years in lacrosse and had some great accomplishments winning a few tournaments, city championships and eventually a provincial gold. I did however remove myself from the sport not only for my lack of time but because of the ever increasing amount of alcohol, drugs and partying instead of the joy of the actual sport that my teammate seemed to lack. I enjoy playing any sport be it soccer, hockey, basketball etc. and I try for the most part to get as much physical activity as I can. I give 100% all the time and sometime I push myself too hard but thats me.
